1. What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow websites to remember information about your visit and improve your experience. Cookies are text-based and do not contain malicious code.

Each cookie has an expiration date. Some cookies expire when you close your browser (session cookies), while others remain on your computer (persistent cookies).

2. Why We Use Cookies

Regardly uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Remember your preferences and settings
  • Improve Platform performance and reliability
  • Understand how users interact with our Platform
  • Enhance your user experience

3. Types of Cookies We Use

  • Duration: Until you log out or close browser
  • Required: Yes (Platform won't work without these)
  • GDPR: No consent required (technical necessity)

3.2 Preference/Functionality Cookies

3.3 Analytics Cookies

We use analytics to understand how users interact with Regardly (which pages are popular, how long users stay, etc.).

  • Service: To be confirmed as specific analytics tools go live (see Section 3.4 below for the tools currently built into the Platform)
  • Purpose: Understand usage patterns, improve Platform
  • Data collected: Page views, time on site, clicks (no personal data)
  • Duration: Variable
  • Required: No (you can opt-out)

3.4 Third-Party Cookies

We use consent-gated third-party analytics and marketing cookies from tools including Google Analytics (GA4), Heap, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Meta (Facebook) Pixel. None of these are set until you affirmatively accept them in the cookie banner described in Section 5 below, and you can withdraw your consent at any time via your account or browser settings.

We do NOT use these tools to sell your data, and we do NOT share your data with advertisers for their own independent marketing purposes.

  • Google Analytics (GA4): usage analytics
  • Heap: product usage analytics
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag: marketing and conversion tracking
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel: marketing and conversion tracking

Whether each tool above is actually active at any given time depends on your cookie-banner choices and on which integrations are currently live. We will keep this section current as that changes.
